Wilson County Fair – Fredonia

Wilson County Fair will be held July 25th – 29th at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Fredonia.

Thursday, July 26:
9:00 a.m.-? – 4-H Photography Consultation Judging
9:00 p.m. -? 4-H Arts & Crafts Consultation Judging
5:30-7:30 p.m.-Check-in of all exhibits except: Open Class Flowers, Open Class Foods, and 4-H
Flowers
9 a.m.-5:00 p.m.-Booth Exhibits to be completed by 5:00pm
Livestock can be brought in
Poultry and Rabbits in place by 7:30 p.m.

Friday, July 27:
7:30-8:30 a.m. – Hog Weigh In
8:30 -9:30a.m. – Sheep/Goat Weigh In
9:30- 10:30 a.m. – Beef/Bucket Calf Weigh In ALL LIVESTOCK MUST BE IN PLACE BY THE END OF
THAT SPECIES WEIGH IN FRIDAY MORNING (please give yourself adequate time to complete
weigh in by the end of your species time…do not wait until the last minute)
Noon.-9 p.m.- Exhibit Building Open Unless Stated Otherwise
Exhibit Buildings will be closed during judging. Superintendents, helpers and judges should be
only persons in exhibit areas during this time. EXCEPTIONS: 8:00 am – 9:30 am in these areas for
check in – Open Class Flowers, Open Class Foods, & 4-H Flowers.
8:00 – 9:30 a.m.- Check-in: Open Class Flowers, Open Class Foods, 4-H Flowers
8:30 a.m.- Judging of all 4-H and Open Class entries except: Open Class Foods, Flowers and 4-H Flowers
and Livestock
10:00 a.m.- Judging of Open Class Foods, Open Class Flowers and 4-H Flowers
Noon- Farmer=s Market – Sale of Extra Vegetables from Vegetable Exhibits & Open Class Baked Food Sale
Noon- Poultry and Rabbit Judging
1:30- Barnyard Olympics- Show Arena
3:00 p.m.- Dairy Cattle, Bucket Calf and 4-H and Open Class and 4-H Dairy Goat Judging
5:00 p.m.-Sheep Show followed by Breeding and Market Meat Goat Show
8:00 p.m.- ACRA/IPRA Rodeo
Saturday, July 28:
8:00 a.m.- Judging of Swine
1:30 p.m.- Ice Cream Social
2:00 p.m.- 4-H Dog Agility Exhibition
3:00 p.m.- Kids Pedal Tractor Pull – Sponsored by Wilson County Farm Bureau
5:00 p.m.- Beef Show
8:00 p.m.- ACRA/IPRA Rodeo

Sunday, July 29:
10:00 a.m.- Church Service
10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.- Exhibit Building Open
11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. – Skillathon
12:30 p.m.- Round Robin Showmanship
1:00 p.m. – WEC & 4-H Booths disassembled
2:30- 3:00 p.m.- Release of 4-H and Open Class Exhibits except Sale Exhibits
3:00- 4:30 p.m.- Clean-up Buildings
5:00 p.m. – Trophies presented at Sale Barn
6:00 p.m.- 4-H/FFA Livestock Sale
(Immediately following sale – load livestock and clean barns)
