EPD Prescription Drug Take Back Event – Emporia

On April 28th from 10a-2p the Emporia Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted, unused, and expired prescription drugs. Only pills and patches will be accepted.  Bring your pills for disposal to the Flint Hills Community Health Center located at 420 W. 15th Av.  Simply flush them down the toilet or throwing prescription pills in the trash both pose potential safety and health hazards.
